As one of the free tax clinic, we have registered our organization as a community partner with the Canada Revenue Agency’s Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) from 2016. We operate the tax clinic every Monday from March to December for those ELIGIBLE PEOPLE.

2. Simple tax situation
In general, your tax situation is simple if you have no income or if your income comes from any of these sources:
- employment
- pension
- benefits such as the CPP, disability insurance, EI and social assistance
- RRSPs
- support payments
- scholarships, fellowships, bursaries or grants
- interest (under $1,000)
3. Returns NOT eligible
- are self-employed or have employment expenses
- have business or rental income and expenses
- have capital gains or losses
- file for bankruptcy
- are deceased in the year
